According to an order of the Mayor of Orhei, Ilan Shor the Municipal Enterprise "Communal Locative Services" initiated extensive works for modernization and repair of the central streets from Orhei municipality.

Altogether five more important street from the city will be rebuilt and modernized, with a total length of more than 2500 meters.

In this context, the extensive reconstruction works have begun on the historical street Vasile Mahu, which is a strategic point for the Orhei citizens.

Today, all the public authorities, the Catholic Church, the "Europe" square, and the most beautiful park "Ivanos Park", newly renovated and rebuilt by Mayor of Orhei, Ilan SHOR, can be found on this street.

At the same time, according to the Mayor, the modernization and reconstruction works will be extended on the streets of Chisinau, Renasterii Nationale, Gheorghe Asachi and Ciprian Porumbescu, arteries located in the central area of the city.

"We plan to modernize the infrastructure of the roads and the appearance of the city so that Orhei becomes safer for the Orheians and more accessible to tourists," declared the Mayor Ilan SHOR.

According to the action plan, the started repair works include propelling and surface excavation, as well as gravel coverage. Subsequently, workers will cover roads with a layer of up to 10 cm of bituminous asphalt.

At the same time, besides the modernization of the road, according to the project, the pedestrian sidewalks will be paved, the curbs will be changed and the marking lines will be applied.

The highest quality materials are used for the rehabilitation and modernization of the street.

Ten dozen of workers are trained for the execution of the works within the set deadline in alert regime.

It is also worth mentioning that the infrastructure rehabilitation and modernization works are carried out simultaneously on the other 5 streets intersecting with the main artery Vasile LUPU.

The modernization and rehabilitation of the roads in Orhei municipality is a basic priority for the Mayor Ilan Shor and his team, and according to the action plan for 2017, other tens of streets will be repaired in Orhei.
