It was decided to expand the activity of the Christmas Fair in Orhei after Christmas celebration

Previously, it was announced that the Fair, which was opened on December 23 will last until Old Style Christmas - January 7th. Upon the decision of extending the Fair, all the attractions, the concert platform and the delicacies and souvenir counters will be available for visitors for a one more week.
Also, according to the organizers' decision, the deadline for submitting applications for the contest for the most beautifully decorated courtyard of the city, previously announced by the City Hall, was also extended. Initially, the completion of the contest was planned by the end of the fair - on January 7, on the day of the solemn closing, when the prizes were to be awarded to the winners. In this respect, the contest is extended for one week and the results will be announced on January 14, at the same time of Fair’s closure.
The Christmas Fair is organized in Orhei for the third consecutive year. This year the fair is particularly big. Besides the town with commercial counters, guests have free entertainment, and on the holiday scene under the open sky, new artists and artistic formations perform every day.
According to the organizers' estimates, tens of thousands of people visit the Center of Orhei every day, including the Fair, during the festive period and the live broadcast of the grand New Year's Eve concert was seen by more than 200,000 people in the first 4 days.
