National Premiere at Orhei! The City Hall has applied a digitized, efficient system for processing the requests and petitions of the inhabitants at the initiative of the mayor, Ilan Shor. An electronic system implemented by Ilan Shor in Orhei helps local people to have a more comfortable and transparent relationship with the City Hall. Starting with the current week, all citizens' and economic agents’ requests will be examined electronically in record time, and inhabitants can find out online at what stage their requests are executed, or the result issued, with a simple click.
How does the system work?
Every request, demarche, letter or other document addressed to the City Hall by the Orhei inhabitants receive a copy for the electronic system and is then forwarded to the examination or execution. After each stage the system updates the data about the citizen's request. And the citizen can at any time check online at what stage his request is being examined. He can even see the name of the responsible official.
How do we fight against delay in request examining?
Local authorities in Orhei have taken steps to prevent delays. For example, at each request, the City Hall also indicates the due period, during which the request shall be examined, not longer than prescribed by the law. At the same time, the electronic system automatically reminds you in advance of the deadline. This helps City Hall officials monitor the execution of requests in legal terms and with more stringency.
Orhei City Hall does not stop here
The authorities in Orhei do not stop there. The "e-Primaria" project is a first step to bringing local public services closer to people. In addition, the program was implemented in order to relieve the townspeople from the queues at the counters and to ensure better transparency from Orhei City Hall. Thus, in the near future, Orhei inhabitants will be able to submit petitions online. Every interested citizen will be able to file a petition or request directly from his/her computer or directly from the smartphone. And then you can track the document processing online.
Currently, Orhei city, led by Ilan Shor since 2015, is a leader among the cities of the Republic of Moldova in the implementation of infrastructure and social projects. The electronic document processing project was initially conceived by the Orhei authorities as a way to simplify citizens' access to City Hall services, improve the transparency of the decision-making process, and eliminate the risks of corruption in working with citizens.
