After the streets were rehabilitated and the street lighting was installed, the local authorities also started repairing the courtyards of the residential buildings. And recently, another modern courtyard was opened, where the asphalt was laid, the curbs, the sidewalks, a playground for children and a sports ground for adults were set up. Also, the works included refreshment of green areas, flowers were planted, the benches were renewed and an area for carpet cleaning was installed.
And this time, the works were done in record time and at the highest level, with quality materials.
Being present at the ceremony, Mayor Ilan Shor promised the residents that all the courtyards under construction will be modernized until winter. The Mayor did not just participate in the symbolic cutting of the ribbon, but also inspected the works. He shared with the tenants his childhood experience when he grew up in a similar court yard: "I grew up in a similar courtyard and I know that the court is an important part of everyday life. That's why I promise you that with the entire local administration we will repair all the courtyards of the Orhei blocks. What we do is for your comfort, so that you will feel good and safe in our city," said Ilan Shor.
Up to now, with the support of Orhei City Hall, 15 courts have been rehabilitated. The modernization of the courtyards of residential blocks in Orhei is part of the "Operation Court" program, launched by the mayor of Orhei, Ilan Shor, in the spring of this year. y the end of the year, the local administration aims to renovate over 60 courtyard.
