We mention about four streets in the private district of Lupoaica, namely: Parfeonov, Haiducului, Ion Aldea Teodorovici and Metropolitan Dosoftei.
The one kilometer-long streets were paved for the first time, using over 560 tons of asphalt. Also, curbs were installed and 40 entrances to the courtyards were landscaped.
In the last three years, since taking over the mayor's office, Ilan Shor and his team have managed to repair more than half of the city's roads, and this summer, the main artery of Orhei, Vasile Lupu Street, was rebuilt and arranged in record time.
Recently Mihai Eminescu Boulevard was also put into operation, which is also known as Champs-Elysees of the cultural capital of the Republic of Moldova.
On all streets, modern road markings have been applied and pedestrian crossings have been arranged according to European standards. All road signs have been changed. Also, in Orhei was fully rehabilitated the street lighting system and sidewalks. In this way, 3,500 LED bulbs, 3,750 new pylons and over 140 km of cable were installed.
In 2017, for the first time, Orhei City Hall has begun the reconstruction of the streets with its own forces and resources, which makes it possible to save the money that is invested in other projects. To this end, an asphalt and pavement production plant will also be procured.
