Exceptional New Year's Eve at Orhei. More than 25,000 people celebrated alongside Ace of Base, Dschinghis Khan and Arabesque

More than 25,000 people came from all over the country to celebrate New Year's Eve in the city that organized the most grandiose concert in the country.
For the first time in Moldova, the pop music legends: Ace of Base, Dschinghis Khan and Arabesque, sang on stage from Orhei and turned Vasile Lupu Square into a huge dance floor.
The hits of the '80s and' 90s singed live by the legendary formations, a show of lights, holiday decorations and wonderful disposition, all of these ensured a special atmosphere and an unforgettable New Year's Eve.
At the border between the years, the Mayor Ilan SHOR, along with his wife and team, wished to all Orhei dwellers and all citizens that 2018 would be a prosperous year with many achievements and successes.
In order for people to meet the New Year with a sweet taste, at the initiative of the Mayor Ilan SHOR, those present at the feast received a free chocolate croissant.
The transition between years was marked by a spectacular fireworks show.
New Year's Eve was a special one for a couple from Cimislia. A young man from Cimislia proposed to his beloved one, in front of thousands of people.
Moreover, besides the mega concert organized by the Mayor Ilan SHOR, the guests enjoyed the magic Orhei Christmas Fair.
All people, the Orhei dwellers and the guests of this wonderful evening passed to 2018 with joy and a smile on their lips. There is a good saying about this: how do you meet New Year, so you will spend it!
The concert continued for a long time after midnight!
